Cosmetics are fine, they are not needed, they are for people that “oooh that looks good” and don’t mind paying a bit extra. All armor you salvage, you get the skins from them to use at the transmog station. Legendary armor has pretty unique skins too. I’m not sure exactly how many there are though. It’s scummy, but as long as it has no impact on gameplay I don’t really care. Other games do it and I’m able to enjoy and not purchase the cosmetics.

FN skins etc are decently priced for some things and you can easily get a $7.99 bundle 1 time and conserve V bucks to roll each month (and get skins, weapon skins and fun stuff monthly through the Battle Pass). Overwatch’ old model was fantastic and w/ OV2’s changes we quit. Used to love Blizzard but they are not what they used to be.
