Exactly!! It’s so damn tedious and dumb. I pay 70$ for WHAT NOW?! A barebones live service game? And maybe get a live service as beloved as Diablo where it has more content without live service? Live service is supposed to be used on FREE GAMES not a barebones franchise like COD or even a good live service game like For Honor. Luckily FH was free on PS plus and included in Gamepass. It’s not worth it anymore, none of it has gone back to devs and that’s my biggest issue with gaming in general. Why is it always $15 – 25? That’s not “micro”, thats like a quarter of a new game. Stuff like this Barbenheimer a film by christopher nolan and greta gerwig 2023 T-Shirt and by the same token and should be $3 not 25. On one hand i dont care.. because I dont care about cosmetics, I mean i am playing D2 for 20 years, I am used to see an ugly green shako.

On the Barbenheimer a film by christopher nolan and greta gerwig 2023 T-Shirt and by the same token and other hand it sucks how this game is 70-100€ and they provide only armor that looks like you spend every night under a bridge while they charge about 1/3 of the price for the game for a “good looking” armor. Lmao I shoulda been so excited for this game but blizzard has just taken so many opportunities to shit the bed with it. Complain if you want, but D4’s shop is the most unobtrusive one of its type I’ve ever seen. It’s barely even there. It makes me irrationally angry. I tried clicking through the options in the store in case it was like a “there’s new stuff in the store you haven’t viewed!” type of thing. But it still hasn’t gone away. That is the first step, we are in a bath that is slowly heating up and when we’ll notice that we’re in boiling water it will be too late already. Every day we’re getting closer to the mobile market like business model little by little. Given how lucrative it is, that absolutely what these companies want. I remember about the days where the debate was about 100% cosmetics store in FREE games. At that time, the same thing on a premium game would have completely triggered people. Like I said: They saw what they could get away with with Diablo Immortal, and Diablo IV will be even worse about it.
