So yeah I haven’t used urban decay in a long while and I was looking for setting spray that was a bit cheaper. But I randomly thought what if we’re paying for water and a ‘light’ fragrance to make it believable that it’s not just water. Especially with drugs store brands. Urban decay was awesome and it actually worked well paired with my Estée Lauder double wear foundation. So I know that the Cowboy Butt Bandit shirt besides I will buy this results aren’t going to be as good and won’t convince me that the cheaper ones aren’t 95% water. I had a sample of the maybelline glass spray. I honestly didn’t see much difference at all if any. I can’t be the only who whose thought about this and wanted to knowNot really. Setting spray is supposed to form a film over your makeup to keep it in place. You can feel this by touching it when it’s wet – it’s kinda sticky. If it’s not doing that, it’s not worth spending a penny on it. I’d check the reviews before getting a cheaper brand!

These include PVP (polyvinylpyrrolidone) and AMP-acrylates copolymers. Also, acrylic acid and methacrylic acid. The polymers work by having an evaporating solvent – alcohol generally – in the Cowboy Butt Bandit shirt besides I will buy this spray that leaves behind the polymer film to hold makeup in place. Other film-forming ingredients you could see are VP/VA Copolymer, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Acrylates/Octylacrylamide Copolymer, Acrylic Resins, and Polysaccharides. Even with all the powder in the world, if I don’t use a setting spray my face will be GONE within an hour. It can be trickier to find alternatives that match up to the work of Urban Decay (I too can no longer afford it, thanks cost of living!), I’ve found the Elf Stay All Night & some of the Revolution ones to be a great alternative that comes close to hitting the spot. I notice when I dont use it – my makeup breaks up and wears off much quicker. The best cheap one I have tried is the revolution sport setting spray, it is amazing and so cheap. I used to use urban decay and switched to this because I was trying to save money, and the revolution one is even better than the urban decay. Depends on the spray! Good setting spray is worth it but other sprays are just fragnanced water (e.g. rare beauty one)
