Literally no idea what any of that means. I just thought it was funny that they added context of non inherited, and then the Cornhole Why I Lose At Cornhole T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this amount was 100% Is this something new or something we can only diagnose since very recently. Never even heard of prions and now this is like the 10th time this year. Correct me if I’m wrong. I feel like prion disease is as close to an infectious cancer it gets. I mean, it’s an “error” that sets of a chain reaction in an organism. Cancer is just cells that can’t stop dividing. That’s the extent of the problem. It’s complicated because there are many different factors that cause any specific instance of cancer, and that’s why there’s trouble creating cures. Imagine a house of cards or a sand castle. Both of them are pretty structured and take a lot of time to put together properly. A lot of care has to be put in to make sure it comes out right. Same with proteins and the way they are made in cells. There are many different factors that go into making sure the protein is folded in a way that is generally stable and functional. It’s much easier to throw a deck of cards or a bunch of sand at them and make them crumble. The new form they take is much more stable, but not functional at all for its previous purpose. Once they crumble, it’s almost impossible for people to put them back the same way they were without a lot of time and energy. That’s essentially what prions do to properly folded proteins. Forget fixing it, don’t have the technology to identify and remove them from a living patient.
Cornhole Why I Lose At Cornhole T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
Is there an inherited disease that has somehow killed people who don’t have it to get more than a 100% death rate? I think it’s rabies actually, that has the Cornhole Why I Lose At Cornhole T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this highest mortality rate. Both are incurable, but one kills you in a few days whereas one can take 30 years or more to kill you, giving you plenty of chances to die from other stuff, maybe not even ever becoming aware that you have it. If the mortality rate is 100%, then why qualify the statement? Do inherited diseases have a 200% mortality rate? Also why the fuck would you use Guinness world records as a source for this claim? Since when do prions have enough cash to buy a Guineas record? Because they’re talking about observed mortality rate, not hypothetical. There could be a future where the highest rate disease only reaches 50%. I have a terrible memory associated with this, wonder if anyone else remembers. In a Microbiology class in university around 2013-2014, we had to present on a research paper to the class. It was about Prions and some early simulation models the authors had ran. I literally remember reading through that paper about 10 times and I could barely understand or comprehend like 20% of it. I felt so fkn stupid, still remember now. On top of that, since part of the grade was asking questions at the end to other presenters, I got hella random questions that even I could barely answer.
