This is a field that if you aren’t both on the same page then get out of it quick. Discuss early on if you want children, how many, when (now, in 10 yrs, after marriage). Discuss birth control before having sex! Condom, who provides them, the pill, IUD, sterilization, etc. Definitely discuss what will happen if a pregnancy occurs! And have these conversations more than once, over time people’s views change. Don’t assume how they felt years ago is still how they feel. And don’t try to talk someone out of their choice, it might hurt to lose them but in the end that difference could just as easily break you up.
