Are you still living at home or planning to ask them to let you move back in? If so, you should be nervous, otherwise you’re a grown man, just tell em It might help if you can immediately reassure them they aren’t on the Colin Miller Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman Winnipeg Jets T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this hook for any childcare… but I’m guessing you were just assuming they would do it. My mom reacted poorly to my second pregnancy. My first was unplanned but I was 26 when she was born. My second was also unplanned but came 3 years later, and we were married by then. We didn’t make a ton of money at the time so I guess I get it but I would’ve preferred a little support off the rip instead of “how could you let this happen?” All that to say, who cares? You’re an adult and odds are strong she’ll love the kid anyway. If you have the kind of mom who’s going to judge you for some (any) reason it doesn’t matter what you do, so just live your life. And congratulations on the new family member!

You’ve been an adult for almost a decade now. Your girlfriend is literally 30. I thought this was gonna be a post from like a 17-year-old kid. Just tell your parents. If you at 27 are afraid of displeasing your parents to the Colin Miller Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman Winnipeg Jets T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this extent you can’t tell them about the arrival of a future grandkid, it’s time to look at your upbringing and your parents parenting because there is probably abuse there but at a minimum manipulation and control. You are definitely over thinking this. You already have a 5 year old child. You know what it means to be a dad. If you took care of your kid you already have (i.e. didn’t leave with your parents all the time), then you will do the same here. You have fully grown up. Let them know when you feel like it. If you expect it to go badly, let your girlfriend no so she doesn’t show up with you and get all stressed out. Just remember, this time you planned it, so it’s a different case than before.
