Call their bluff, just say “no thanks, not interested” and walk away – you could vaguely mention looking for other opportunities. If they don’t react you are better off without the Christmas 2023 Your Name Snowman Buffalo Plaid Xmas shirt so you should to go to store and get this responsibility, if they do that is when you realise you have some power in the situation and you can negotiate so long as you are clear as to what you want to achieve overall. Take it, add it to your CV, once you have the experience and confidence of the position and if they haven’t gave any raise just apply to another job with that position. It was told to me I unfortunately can’t have a pay raise just yet and they want to see how I do in this role. They want to help me “grow into it”. Years ago I worked as a delivery guy for Colortyme making $5.75/hr. After a while, I was asked to move up to being an Accounts Manager which paid $6/hr because S—t told me “I’d be pretty good at it”. But when I asked for a 25 cent increase to be inline with others doing the same thing S—t balked and wanted to evaluate me first. That chucklefuck came TO ME and already knew what my work ethic was like (they liked it), yet they wanted to go cheap. Fuck you Colortyme and fuck you S—t. If your company thinks you’re good enough to even try the job and be responsible for the duties entailed, they can pay you square from day one. It may not have to be what your previous boss was getting paid, but it should certainly be more than what you’ve been earning beforehand.

Christmas 2023 Your Name Snowman Buffalo Plaid Xmas shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Do not take on this title without the Christmas 2023 Your Name Snowman Buffalo Plaid Xmas shirt so you should to go to store and get this pay increase. If they do not want to pay an increase when your title changes then one of them can step into that position since they are getting compensated for the title already. Dont be surprised if they get mad and scratch the whole idea. If they do, they definitely were going to fck you out of the pay raise. If they hired someone else, that person would likely start out with a higber pay than you, so, I dont see the issue with giving you the raise. You’re in a voluntary contract to work for a stated amount. They’re offering more responsibility, and given good performance, more pay. Stop listening to the absolute biggest losers of the internet and do the job as well as you can for 2 months. If they haven’t increased your pay and changed your title by then, ask them why. Bosses are busy, there are a million moving parts to attend to, and even if they seem to be ignoring you, they may just be genuinely swamped. Get outside of your head. If they disrespect you, make a decision to either tread water while you find another job, or quit outright if you have some savings. Value yourself and treat your time like it is worth $100 an hour regardless of your current position
