That’s a lot better than not having anything at all. Good on that shelter to provide a meal for those who need it. Not saying the Chris Jones American football defensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs T-Shirt and by the same token and homeless don’t deserve to eat, we ALL need to eat at the end of the day, but why does this look better than what is going on in American public schools? Not too bad. In the kaleidoscope of meals at shelters, I wouldn’t be too depressed about this. Can be pretty up in the air based on donations. 406 more repliesI worked 12 hours today, I ate 2 eggs for breakfast, no lunch, then mashed potatoes for supper. Just so I can keep a roof over my head. That looks like a feast to me I was homeless for a few months at the Northwest University with my mom and brother. We slept in the back of a chevy venture van. Yeah, i am currently in college, i will graduate next year from the University of Louisville. A lot has happened since then. Not bad. I’m glad to hear that shelter is doing relatively well. We refer folks over there semi regularly. I hope you’re getting enough to eat and getting on your feet. Dope, with this meal you have the energy to walk to Bill Gates home. His house is less than 20 miles from all of Bellevue. Edit: ~ 8miles from Eastgate.

it looks awesome to me. people who can afford to buy food have less nutrition than that by choice. a few greens and it would be perfect. Thus proving that there is no excuse for the Chris Jones American football defensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs T-Shirt and by the same token and empty cardboard shit sandwich of a school lunch we serve in American public schools. Seems like a complete meal; given the chance I would eat all my meals there when available given the current circumstances and living condition. When I was living at a youth shelter they had cooked meals prepared for us each day, always with a protein, veggie, etc. it was equivalent to a school lunch, but in buffet pans and a staff would give it to us. I used to be so picky about it but seeing things that go on in adult shelters makes me grateful that I struggled when young so I wouldn’t have to go through it all now. A friend of mine lives full-time in his small RV. He is a retired veteran. he has an income, but it’s not a lot, so he has to be very careful with his money, and he told me that Bellevue was one of the worst places he ever was that there was so much homelessness there, that everybody kinda looked down upon you, and it’s very difficult to get any help. He ended up back out in the north east in the mountains where we grew up and then he’s coming to visit me in Colorado in the mountains but the cities in Colorado are not any better.
