My husband injured his feet and has been out of work for 6 weeks. The majority of his job is office work and he can do it in a wheelchair or transfer to his office chair. He uses a wheelchair and a knee scooter. His boss says he can’t return until he’s on crutches. He just says “I don’t think they will like that” (if he’s relying on anything other than crutches). My husband finally asked who “they” were and who was the Cat Piss You Off Again Can Do it Again vintage shirt Besides,I will do this one that didn’t want him back at work until he’s on crutches, and his boss said he is the one. My husband isn’t ready for crutches and not sure when he will be. Are they allowed to deny him coming to work because he doesn’t have the device his boss thinks he should have? Not a lawyer but no they can’t unless it would be a hazard to the employee or others. Your husband should contact HR to ask for an ADA accommodation.

Cat Piss You Off Again Can Do it Again vintage shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

see that’s the Cat Piss You Off Again Can Do it Again vintage shirt Besides,I will do this thing, it’s likely this doesn’t even fall under accommodations because technically the workplace does not have to give him anything to do his job, they’re just specifically not allowing him to come to work unless he’s using a specific mobility device, which is super weird. I’m pretty sure it would be considered a short term disability, which does, indeed, fall under ADA accommodations. ah okay fair enough, I just thought that accomodations weren’t applicable unless you need to change your schedule or you require your employer to give you something (mobility equipment etc) Accommodations can include special equipment so an employee can do their job. They can claim undue hardship, but would need to prove that.
