The trick I’ve used to cover the Carolina Panthers tis the season Halloween shirt Additionally,I will love this drink minimum as jazz clubs is Pellegrino with a lime/lemon cuz it still looks like a cocktail and also places love to charge $7 for sparkling water for some reason An excellent tip would be a dollar a glass, but that might be a bit much. A five at the end of the night is probably good enough, ten if you have a couple plates of food. No one cares what you’re drinking and the bartender doesn’t care at all as long as you tip. They’re all mostly lying to each other on the high and low side depending on their goals for the night anyway. I am a bartender and have worked in restaurants for the better part of 25+ years. If someone was to do this in my area, I would happily serve you. It is a breathe of fresh air sometimes knowing that you don’t have to worry about someone being over served and being belligerent at any point. Also much easier to carry on a conversation and BS with someone who isn’t getting drunk. It’s much more personal and sincere. This is also coming from a bartender who doesn’t drink alcohol myself. So I appreciate people who can enjoy a night out without alcohol.

In some places legally yes, like here in France there is a law wich make it illégal to not serve water for free at bars or restaurants. Though they could still charge you for the Carolina Panthers tis the season Halloween shirt Additionally,I will love this icecubes but you get the gist. You can drink water but you should most likely order other things aswell just to not be judged as greedy or Just plan out look out of place. By out of place i mean don’t be that guy who comes in, drinks à gallon of free water, hangs out and leave without tipping Sure. Just tell them you’re the designated driver. Used to be some places would give DD free non-alcoholic drinks. honestly I disagree with everyone saying that OP even has to buy anything. If the bar is dead or quiet then maybe I get it. And maybe don’t sit at the barstool if you don’t order something but there’s nothing wrong with being at a bar, to be social, standing around and mingling with only a water. If you buy food and tip or buy something else and tip more power too you, but it shouldn’t be the expectation. Have none of you people ever been dd?
