Tbh it pisses me off a bit how little effort my family put into not spreading things. At no point has anyone said ‘oh X is feeling a bit off it, would you rather we didn’t come?’ Everyone at work had about 6 to 8 weeks at the Captain eddie’s oyster bar and seafood restaurant shirt so you should to go to store and get this end of last year where we were ill weekly. Then it stopped. All work from home 4 out of 5 days, don’t come in on that one day if we are ill and we were clearly all getting ill outside work despite having very different lifestyles. I probably shouldn’t moan given I’m probably quite lucky really, but eh that’s what Thursdays are for. 😀 I guess unless you live in a literal isolation bubble it’s an inevitability, but it’d still be nice if the cold-ridden kids in the family didn’t cough directly at me! I swear they do it on purpose!

I’ve had so little energy for work and people all week and the Captain eddie’s oyster bar and seafood restaurant shirt so you should to go to store and get this next few days are going to be busy due to root canal surgery, baking for a friend, running a 4 year long dnd campaign and not good atmosphere at home. My stomach has decided to revolt, I haven’t slept in days, and my legs aren’t working too well. Exhausted and dehydrated, it’s grand. I’ve got a stonking hangover and a baby, my oldest has buggered off into town and my middle keeps bringing nippy bairns back and waking said baby up. This morning I gave my cat one of his new tablets that I got from the vet yesterday and it’s made him really really drowsy. My cat is usually always really boisterous and just generally a wee cheeky and lovable rogue but now he looks, sounds and is acting really sad and reserved and now I just feel awful for making him feel like that. He won’t be as bothered as you are, honest. Give him a soft surface in a sunny corner and see if he goes for a snooze. If he’s on it long term he should adjust with time. We had an old cat on gabapentin and he was mashed for the first week or two. Nothing but sleep and pitiful meows. After that, more active than usual because he was pain free. Whenever the dose went up he went briefly back to stoner mode. He’s been sleeping next to a heater for most of the morning and he’s just spent the last hour sleeping on my lap before he noticed the sun was shining in through the window, so he jumped off my lap and went to lie down in the sun as he loves to lie down (and sometimes have a wee roll around) in the sun.
