But it doesn’t. For example, intense casteism. I live in Canada and some of my friends are from MP. The stuff that comes out of their mouth. Maybe this is anecdotal, and hopefully this isn’t reflective of the Cade Cunningham 1 Pick Detroit Pistons shirt Also,I will get this larger population. Brought up in bhopal and spent my entire childhood here. This is literally the first time I am hearing casteism allegation against us. Have you even travelled to India ever mate? My South Indian friends complain to me how easy I have in bhopal as there are no severe caste restrictions. During the conversation, while discussing some cricket stuffs, one guy out of nowhere suddenly asked “Bhai teri caste kya hai?”.. I am not sure why my comment is getting downvoted. If it’s India, there will be casteism, not denying that. “Intense” casteism is something I never faced in my 20 years of living in MP. Also Casteism is not an answer, I agree. But it stands out of people I have met from MP. To me, that’s what I see. With all due respect if you have 3 people from MP in your circle and all of them are casteist, that tells me more about your friend circle than the state they are from in India. On internet, I value opinion if someone lives in that area, just having an Indian passport doesn’t qualify you to have a blanket opinion. There was a reason why Akshay Kumar faced so much backlash. Also, to clarify, I am an OBC. Still, I didn’t face any discrimination/humiliation/prejudice in my entire childhood and adulthood in Bhopal.
