I travel a lot and have great friends. I get out the Bulldogs super mario shirt in contrast I will get this house working out 5-6 times a week. I am very happy in my own company, have my own place and thankfully make good money so I don’t need to worry about meeting someone to split the bills with but I’d love to have someone to cuddle up with, love, support and take care of. I’ve always wanted to be a SAHM, bake the cakes, make the Halloween costumes, help out at the school events and have dinner on the table when the husband gets home. Hopefully one day it will happen for me. It’s very lonely. I’m 24 with a few mates but not really close with anyone, see them every few months and i pretty much do everything alone. It feels like I’m just a spectator. 30 next week and had 3 serious relationships in my life but the last one ended about 3 years ago and been pretty contentedly single since then. I feel like I can at least tick it off the list and say I’ve done it.

I do miss the Bulldogs super mario shirt in contrast I will get this closeness and having someone to cuddle with or go do stuff with but, at the same time, I don’t really feel like investing my time in other people anymore. I’m happy with my own little life and just living for me. I’ve dabbled with dating apps but not much luck and I find it mentally exhausting and for every 1 nice person it seems like there are 20 more not so nice ones and that I’m not missing much. Maybe I’ll change my mind again at some point but for now (and the last couple years) I’ve sort of made my peace with the fact I’ll probably never have that kind of thing again. Nothing to offer anyone else; nothing to offer myself; all that is my identity is merely the symptoms of various disorders. I’m fine with it most of the time like you. I have a decent bunch of friends luckily. But I miss having someone to do nothing with. It’s difficult to have someone like that platonically when 99% of people are in relationships, and finding someone romantically to do it with takes so much effort and time.
