Im 53 and still going strong. I had a torn miniscus and that surgery added some pounds. I’m cleared to play rugby, skate, ski, etc. Like you hangovers suck. I started smoking weed pens instead. No hangover but munchies ain’t helping with the Bryce Harper Philadelphia 3 signature shirt in contrast I will get this weight. I don’t feel much different than when I was 30. I’m looking forward to sking in Breckinridge this winter. My dad is 80 and has been old as fuck since he was 45. Both parents smoked, complained about their backs, while sitting around the kitchen table drinking coffee. I hear you. My mom’s 87 and looks great and like she will live to a 100. But there are a lot of 30 year olds who are worse off than the previous generation’s 60 year olds. Biggest difference usually is what people eat. My dad’s health before he passed was way worse than my mom’s but he mostly ate horrible processed food and tons of sugar and carbs. He was obese and that really did a number on his body and brain. Mom’s always eaten lots of fresh fruit and veg, lean protein and stayed away from sweets. She’s still sharp as a tack. My grandmother is in her 80s and still goes out dancing and swims 3k every week, getting old isn’t bad if you take care of yourself Damn, the choreography is challenging enough, but I can’t imagine having to do it in heels. Extra props to Ginger! Awesome! It’s so refreshing to see some actual Old School Cool here, instead of another pic of a random woman from the 80s that OP claims is their mother in the 70s.

Indeed. Also, as goofy as white people dancing tends to be, the Bryce Harper Philadelphia 3 signature shirt in contrast I will get this Charleston is rad and looks hard as hell to do lol. Bro you did not just say goofy white people dancing on a video of Ginger Rogers. That may be true in general but Ginger is one of the greatest dancers of all time. It’s funny that they tried to ban dancing in the old days when there was nothing even remotely sexy about the way people danced. Juba: The juba is a dance that originated in West Africa. It is characterized by its rhythmic stomping, clapping, and slapping. The juba was brought to the United States by enslaved Africans, and it became a popular dance among African Americans in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Cakewalk: The cakewalk is a social dance that originated in the 1870s. It is characterized by its elegant, high-stepping movements. The cakewalk was originally a minstrel dance, but it became popular among African Americans in the late 19th century. Breakaway: The breakaway is a dance that originated in the 1910s. It is characterized by its fast, acrobatic movements. The breakaway was originally a dance performed by African American vaudeville performers, but it quickly became popular among white audiences. the Charleston was considered risqué when it first became popular in the 1920s. The dance was seen as too energetic and sexually suggestive for many people, particularly those in the upper class. The Charleston’s fast pace and acrobatic movements were seen as inappropriate for women, and the dance’s close contact between partners was seen as scandalous. In 1926, the Charleston was banned from several dance halls in New York City, and it was even banned from some colleges. The dance was also criticized by religious leaders, who saw it as a sign of moral decay.
