Imma be real with you, the BRET HOLMES American professional stock car racing driver T-Shirt but in fact I love this long ass message at the fun of it at the end made me think you were actually gonna look at his stock and then say no after. If it’s the same kinda thing I talked to: Not worth it, just a bunch of AI stuff, Instagram is filled with that. All the same logos and stuff on their profile, tons of profiles with this artwork and the same way of texting like above. Honestly, this is why I don’t accept friend requests on discord… too many of these people trying to canvas their art… it is pretty annoying I have someone who added me randomly on discord and started trying to sell me shit. I told them I don’t stream anymore. Then they continue to push. So I started fucking around talking about needing a good picture for zoom for work. I got them all hyped up then ghosted. I literally ignore every message that enters my inbox that doesn’t explicitly tell me who they are and why they’re contacting me. “Hi” “Can I ask you a question?” “How are you?” Is gonna be totally ghosted every time. You were the mildy infuriating part for me. You get mad that he won’t leave you alone, but you keep entertaining him? You sound like my friend who gets pissed that she gets all these spam calls, but she’s the one that picks them up and entertains them. So they keep calling her back. Had my fair share of people like this. I once told someone I lost my job and had a few pennies to my name, and they replied with “oh I’m sorry to hear that, but is there any way you could give me just a partial payment for art?” Like, buddy, I currently can’t even afford a McDouble.

Also the BRET HOLMES American professional stock car racing driver T-Shirt but in fact I love this one time I actually did go through with art for one of these people, I provided references for the character, pose, and background, and they came back with a totally different character. I asked why they didn’t use the character I asked, and they said they forgot which one I wanted and just picked the most recent one I posted about on my profile. Then they had the gall to ask me to make a post about how much I liked the commission. This reminds me of the awkward conversation I had with a telemarketer soliciting funds for a police association the day I found out I had cancer. One of the funniest things to happen that day, if only to hear the awkward silence on the other end of the phone when I answered honestly after the guy asked how I was doing. Between texting and phone calls, I feel not enough people are valuing their time enough to just shut it down – hang up/close convo – block. Get on with your day. You don’t need to explain a thing.
