Wow why would she do that? What a terrible thing to do to anyone but esp her grandchild. You should’ve pressed charges. Did she ever apologize or help repay what she took? And further, how did you find out it was her? An emergency C section that resulted in another major abdominal surgery because the Brenden Schooler New England School’s In Session Signature T-Shirt in other words I will buy this nurses didn’t check my catheter for proper draining… my bladder was full and was sliced completely in half… After insurance the room (and only my room) for my 2 night stay at the hospital is $92,186.17 obviously we are fighting with the hospital and insurance but damn What!!!! That’s beyond insane. Can you file a suit for malpractice? I’m so sorry that happened to you. I had an emergency hysterectomy back in 2015 due to herromoraging and was in icu for a week. I also had a catheter. Its a humiliating experience bc it made me feel so vulnerable and gross. Luckily that didn’t happen to me but I can imagine that would just add insult to injury. If their mistake led to you being more in pain there should be some sort of reimbursement, 92k is crazyyy. Keep fighting it, best of luck!! my hedgehog needed emergency surgery when i got covid so 1. i was out of work for a week. (which by the way my boss told me we didn’t get paid for using our sick time! i didn’t find out til the end of the year we got paid for it and had 40 hours :))2. i brought her in for 3 appointments, one started at $300, the next was $200 right when i was supposed to go back to work, then I had to run her in for an emergency spay due to her developing cancer in her uterus which cost me another $700 all while in the same day i had a concert i paid for months in advance 3 hours away from her vet and very thankfully had family that picked her up for me. i recently had to bring her in for another uti for another lovely $500, my hedgehog is worth as much as my car is at this point haha! I would do it again for her though.

My lord! I am so sorry, i never heard of such a thing me to…I got robbed because the guy decided to rebuild it instead of replacing it. And he had my car for a month ontop of that Had a house fire right as prices increased end of 2021. It was contained but the quote to fix was $20k-25k insurance insisted it shouldn’t cost more than $10k even with quotes. They stopped answering our calls and e-mails. Ended up taking $15k in loans. Oh man where was your agent? His/her literal job is to go to bat for that stuff. I have had to have my agent call the claims people before and sort stuff out. He viewed it as part of fiduciary duty to protect my financial interests.
