I love her because she’s funny as hell and charismatic but it’s hard to pretend these looks belong on all stars. Her personality is meant for Drag Race. But I think she’s one of those people who don’t necessarily have the best instincts for fashion, when left to her own devices. My best friend is the exact same. Gorgeous, sweet, everything you need in a friend and more. But she has absolutely no inner sense of style. Like it just doesn’t click. I’m not a fashionista myself, but I have a little bit of a sense of what works for me. Colors, styles, brands. I think La La just needs a good stylist by her side, and to get some guidance. I know Symone was busy last year, but it could’ve made a difference had she just asked her for advice. She maybe could’ve linked her up with someone at House of Avalon. The way production push her ‘ball redemption’ storyline and call her fashion and whatnot but is totally backfires now… Girlie just dont have it first look is gorgeous but the Breast cancer is boo sheet Halloween T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this others are not showing enough improvement since s12. it’s awesome that lala can sew and stuff now but she’s doing the bare minimum and it still looks unpolished I love me some LaLa Ri something fierce, her personality and charisma, workroom fun, and her 1-on-1s are my fave. Always been a stan. I think the 2nd and 4th ones look worse from the back. If I remember right, it’s the letters of subscribe that were cut out worse than the rest of it. And yes the dark brown pads ruin the nude illusion of the 4th look. I like the chains. Don’t mind the 1st it’s a good look it’s just I think the others were stronger. I HATE the toffee apple It’s a little disappointing because they specifically teased her glowup for this season in interviews. Tbh some of her looks on her season were good, and I don’t know if I can say I’ve loved a single one of her AS8 runways I’m not trying to be a hater but I don’t feel like I know who she is as a queen. Like if I went to a LaLa Ri show I don’t know what I would be seeing. I love her confessionals though, I wish they were leaning on her more as the narrator of the season. To be fair, the first look is beautiful and her second is iconic and golden-boot worthy. Also, it’d be boring if every look was jaw-dropping, and sometimes you need “meh” looks to make the fantastic looks more impressive
