I agree, it doesn’t necessarily buy happiness/stronger happy feelings. I certainly don’t feel a stronger happiness, but I feel less stressed and less impending doom. My highs are about the Breaking Chains Established 1865 Juneteenth Black History Flag T-Shirt but in fact I love this same, I just have less lows, which does make a difference. It’s amazing to just be able to go eat if you want to eat, buy something if you want to buy it and not worry if you can afford it. And like you said. If a house problem occurs like plumbing, it’s not a big deal to just get it fixed. The thing is before I quit my job to pursue the business further, I had almost every co worker and family member tell me.it was stupid and that I should keep grinding at the hospital and working my way up. Had I done that, I think I’d be at maybe $40k a year and still struggling in a high cost of living area. Everyone is hardwired to just tell people to keep their head down and grind and 40 hour a week job.

It’s such a stupid statement that money can’t buy happiness. I mean on the Breaking Chains Established 1865 Juneteenth Black History Flag T-Shirt but in fact I love this surface no money cannot directly buy happiness but having no money sure as hell invites unhappiness and stress and issues that prevent happiness into your life. Not worrying about if you’ll make rent, have your car payment or be able to afford food or medical supplies is easily setting you up for the ability to be happy. Much like “the customer is always right” that phrase just doesn’t hold any kernel of truth. Also , congrats on making it into the comfort zone, I hope you always remember what that change was like if you are ever in charge of determining someone’s salary 🙂 Aw ya classic. When I asked for a raise once my boss asked me what my home expenses were and told me I was actually “quite wealthy”. I was on minimum wage. Oh dear… But if you didn’t need the money, you certainly wouldn’t be asking. Also, it’s good for you to try and get more money out of a job because it’s an indicator of how much they value you and your time. If they’re not willing to pay you enough, they don’t value you.
