I think the Book Owl music tree shirt in addition I really love this insane part is that they drew and quartered him and then cut his head off and stuck it on a stake. The fact that they killed him is definitely not the crazy part. This is what happened. There’s some blurred out images taken from a video on some liveleakish website. For anyone curious just google the players name from the article. The escalation path is unclear. What we know is that he tried to send off a player, there was a fistfight, and he stabbed the player. “A graphic video surfaced online shortly following the incident that shows medical personnel reassembling Otávio’s body.” I like the choice of the word ‘reassembling’. They really didn’t quarter him though. The limbs were removed past the knees and elbows. I don’t think it counts; we need to hold each other to a higher standard. 6/10 I wanna know where they even got a stake at a football match. I mean the ref even had a knife ready, do people in Brazil just come to games like it’s Thunderdome? I just wanna know what happened afterwards. Like you’ve got the dudes head on a pike, what do you do then? Once the adrenaline wears off what do you do? Just drive home? I mean there’s definitely levels of crazy here. Stoning the guy to death is definitely still crazy. It just escalated from there.

Edit: for the Book Owl music tree shirt in addition I really love this people who are pointing out this only applies to modern society, what part of history did you think 2013 Brazil was in? Vlad impaled the supporters of his brother who was also named Vlad. He mostly impaled Bulgarians in a defensive war against the Ottoman Empire. If he wasn’t deposed and imprisoned by his brother he likely would have been named defender of the catholic faith and potential even sainted. Almost everything about him is made up, he spent all but like 8 years of his adult life in captivity. To be fair, if I’m brutally murdering and mutilating someone, putting their head on a spike is jus the next natural conclusion i think there is there is an element of being in shock from seeing their loved one killed right in front of them that shouldnt be ignored. i dont think these people would be out quartering people on a regular day. i dont know them personally so i cant say for sure but theres a chance.
