Utter chaos Local bar to me introduced a £5/head booking fee. We spoke to the Bo Bichette Toronto Stance American professional baseball T-Shirt moreover I will buy this manager, apparently people were booking tables of 6 for food on a Tuesday night, saying yes they’d show up 24 hours in advance, and then no show. Meanwhile, the bar has staffed up for large tables, etc, ordered extra supplies. I once needed to attend an interview at a large site at 9am. Was skint so trying to do public transport. Train dropped me off 2 miles away in time to walk the rest. It was raining but not the end of the world. Then Google Maps circa 2011 took me to the back of the site rather than the entrance. I tried to find the way in but it was in a housing estate and I couldn’t figure it out but perservered. Then it started chucking it down. Then a lorry kicked a muddy puddle all over me. Then I dropped my phone and it broke so I couldnt call them. At this point I started ugly crying and got on a bus back to the train. I’m sure they thought I was rude but I couldn’t face calling to explain when my phone was fixed. It was a set interview day anyway so they would have already appointed.

The same people who consistently send unwanted messages inviting you to apply for jobs in an industry you left years ago? Nearly as worthless as estate agents, both are professions for people who went to uni and then spent so much time pissed that they couldn’t remember anything they had gone there to learn. (Special shout-out to the Bo Bichette Toronto Stance American professional baseball T-Shirt moreover I will buy this estate agents who lost my keys on completion day a few years ago!) Yeah, the ones who want me to relocate to the Isle of Man with my entire family for £30k less than I am on but come back with how the office has a great culture and there’s an unlimited training budget. Much like trades have a “fuck off” price when they don’t want a job, I have a “fuck off” salary for recruiters. “You want me to uproot my whole life for your shitty client? £250k mate, and the benefits package better be sweet.”
