Ugh, that is an insane take by them. I don’t understand why they don’t want to support you getting on your own two feet. Okay. You don’t want to support me any more? That’s fine. One more year is all I need. One year out of 28 years. No? That’s too much for you? That breaks your back or something?? For the Bluey Santa Paws Is Coming To Town Merry Christmas Shirt and by the same token and record they have three bedrooms in their $800,000 home with one acre of land around it in the neighborhood (unheard of around here) (fully paid) sitting vacant right now… I think that they think having to share an apartment for years of my life. Maybe ten plus more years, is what they think I should do because they did it… I know what makes me happy in life and that’s making art and having a space to do that is crucial. I can’t do that with one room of a cramped 2BR apt I split with my roomate… and it’s pretty miserable honestly. I’d love to have a space to turn into a little music studio, it’s just completely unfeasable on my salary and house prices in the UK are insane… I was very lucky in that my parents moved to Germany and allowed my wife and I to housesit the 4BR family home for £0 with bills included… we were very, very lucky to have that. It enabled us, like what you’re wanting, to save for our own place. I’m so sorry that you’re in such a position. Being a parent is a lifetime commitment and I really wish you the best – I can’t understand if they’ve got somewhere sitting empty that they won’t help their own child out! Are they trying to rent it out for $$$ over helping you?!

I’m glad you have truly loving parents with good morals and values. Mine watch Fox News all day and are pretty brainwashed at this point sadly. Thank you for understanding my pain. So many people on here would say I’m unreasonable or ungrateful but they’re just jealous of the Bluey Santa Paws Is Coming To Town Merry Christmas Shirt and by the same token and support I’ve received in the past and don’t focus on this aspect. I completly agree and that’s why I probably won’t have kids myself. Because I won’t be able to support them like my parents did me before they kicked me out even. I have an engineering technology degree and I can’t find a job that uses it… I’m really trying here. I have a BSc and couldn’t find any jobs in my area so I ended up in public services… probably won’t be able to afford to have kids, either!
