It became a “method” and too many dickheads got on it. Like I’m glad ppl are working and making money, but I’ve seen way too many flat out disrespectful ass drivers Back in 2018, Doordash was trash but no DD drivers have bad reputation. Nowadays Doordash seems still trash af (even worse) AND drivers are at their lowest, begging for money. Not everyone is cut out for customer service jobs which is what Door Dash does. Some lazy incompetent people who couldn’t handle a regular job, heard that it was easy and then gravitated into it and just went to their lazy sloppy patterns that caused him to not be able to hold a regular job in the Blink-182 Bridgestone Arena 07 16 2023 Event Shirt Apart from…,I will love this first place. I think that for every DoorDash horror story, there’re thousands of successes you’ll never know about. I think the Blink-182 Bridgestone Arena 07 16 2023 Event Shirt Apart from…,I will love this real turning point was the pandemic. Lost jobs, low funds. The average dasher AND customer became an asshole. DoorDash pays drivers Pennie’s now good luck getting your 30 bucks an hr while being forced to accept $3.25 order with an 11 mile driver both ways Inflation and the economy post-pandemic. People are getting into financially desperate and dire situations so it brings the worst out of some or maybe a lot of them. Well. With any business that pays too low, the smart capable drivers found other employment. What is left are the unemployable, the idiots, drug addicts, etc .. as well as a few old school drivers still trying to make it work… During COVID, the other drivers I ran into were…well ..normal people. Now it’s a total shit show. I switched to gardening instead. People with mental illness walk amongst us regularly. We let them eat in restaurants, drive cars and have jobs. DoorDash continually exploits drivers steals our tips expects insane delivery distances and multiple orders leading to mad non tipping customers, customers generally becoming more tip averse, etc. The reason why I ordered more is because I was sick and couldn’t stomach much past a smoothie from smoothie king. I’m glad dashers even took the orders and didn’t berate me to tip them more (that I couldn’t afford, I was in high school and still always tried to tip at least 20% because I know we have a bad tipping reputation)
