Birmingham, you have to look a little harder for the Blanche Devereux character from the sitcom television series The Golden Girls T-Shirt moreover I will buy this great spots. But once you find them, they are a rival for anywhere I the country It was quickly rebuilt after the war without much planning I suspect, most of the heavily bombed towns and cities looked like this, Liverpool used to be dreadful but has been updated. But sure why Birmingham hasn’t (or hasn’t as much). Not entirely sure you’re talking about Birmingham if you think it hasn’t been redeveloped much. It’s spent most of the last 30 years being completely rebuilt. I remember variations of a joke being told back in the 80s that if all out nuclear war broke out, the Soviets would only need to launch seven or eight missiles at the UK to wipe out all its centres of culture, plus Birmingham

I feel like a lot of cities that have character are based around a major river and have more historical buildings, whereas Birmingham doesn’t have a river through the Blanche Devereux character from the sitcom television series The Golden Girls T-Shirt moreover I will buy this centre and was bombed heavily followed by lot of car industry who pushed the council into making the city very car based rather than pedestrian friendly I think Birmingham has improved a lot in the last few years. I think it’s long suffered by being a bit of a sprawl without a tight city core. It always felt a bit like the big shops were in one area, the independents in another and the nightlife in a third and then there was a bit of a dead area between each section. Birmingham has, somewhat recently, begun transforming itself from an industrial city to a non-industrial city. It’s still early in the process. If you think it’s bad now, you should have seen it in the 80s and 90s! It’s actually much improved since then but I agree it’s not the prettiest city out there. Fortunately there are lots of really nice places nearby; Warwick, Worcester, Lichfield to name a few plus there’s lots of countryside nearby. There are also nicer suburbs like Bournville, Harborne and Bearwood which improve things if you are willing to explore a bit.
