Because it’s a result of Tesla’s mismanagement and reportedly toxic workplace. You’re not likely to hear stories like this from Microsoft or Apple, because I’d bet those companies have professional teams that specifically deal with planning and organizing large company events like this. I’ve been to Microsoft partner events catered at hotels etc. The Microsoft representatives were always very pleasant to work with and when I did see them interact with the Bill Walton eating a cupcake shirt also I will do this people from the hosting venue it was the same. Same! Not to give away too much but I use to regularly visit a Microsoft office because the company I was working for was a partner. They would cater and had the best self serve cafe. Yeah they’re great to work with actually. Also just went to a TP-Link event and their local guys were very nice too.

It’s less about “Tesla”, specifically, and more about the Bill Walton eating a cupcake shirt also I will do this fact that they’re a multi-billion dollar company fucking over a much smaller one. If* Facebook, Microsoft, Google, etc. does this just as often but don’t get as much heat for it as Tesla does in this one case, you’d be on to something. From the story, “A Tesla spokesperson did not respond to the specific questions but told NBC Bay Area they’ve been in touch with Rasetarinera.” Thanks for taking the time to tell us how little you care, it really underscores your ambivalence to the matter. Legacy media trying their very best to hate on Musk. I feel bad for this lady and her restaurant but this isn’t newsworthy at all. Big difference between “thousands of dollars” and the real amount of $2,000.00. They probably make that in a day, if not more. PS: Downvote this if you’re voting for Trump. And a big difference between a random customer stiffing and a ridiculously wealthy dickhead that could unfathomably easily pay for the damages his company caused, but won’t. They lost the cost of ingredients, cost of labor, and the cost of refusing other orders. That adds up to more than $2,000. Don’t speak on something you have no experience on. Imagine being this much of a douchebag that you make accusations and sound like you justify Tesla’s actions as excusable.
