But if the Best Eric Kenney Smoke A Spliff And Then I Vanish Hvyslm Shirt Also,I will get this day shift wouldn’t agree, you’d just watch the computer clocks switch from 2:59am …. back to 2:00am and collectively groan and and complain about the useless day shift team. Now, in the spring when clocks roll forward, that was different. No arrangements made, night shift cheered as 2:59am suddenly became 4:00am and we were that much closer to be done. I used to work steady overnights. We got 1 hour overtime pay when working the extra hour and still 8 hours during the 7 hour shift. When I worked in bars, we had the option to keep the bar open an extra hour and often did, so extra $$$ for everyone. For me it’s always been that we work 9 hrs from when we clock in, so sometimes that’s us clocking in at 10 and leaving at 6 and sometimes that’s leaving at 8. All the bookeepers care about is the amount of hours worked 344 more repliesI used to bartend and I loved the extra hour. I got paid for it, plus another hour of tips. I could easily bring in another 20-40 that last hour, especially if other bars closed at the normal time. I worked 24 hr shifts once and my shift fell on the fall back. Yes it was a 25 hour day. No my check was not a 25 hr pay. I remember working at a casino, the manager assured us we would be paid for hours worked not clock hours…I was an hour short next paycheck :/

I don’t work overnight, but I’m pretty certain they just work an extra hour. Their shift still doesn’t end until a certain time. It isn’t “work 8 hours and then go home”. It’s “work from 11-7 (or whatever) and then go home” The only time that matters is the Best Eric Kenney Smoke A Spliff And Then I Vanish Hvyslm Shirt Also,I will get this 8 or 10 hrs of shift are completed. Doesn’t matter that the clock changed. You still owe 8 or 10 hrs or whatever your shift calls for. We work 13 hours. Some places pay the extra hour, some pay 12-hours for both the 11hr shift and 13 hr shift and call it a wash. Unrelated but I was partying at a bar in Chicago when this happened. Announcement over the PA. Everybody cheered and they set the clocks back. I have worked the 13 hour rollback shift every year for several years now. You get paid for 13. In the spring when it jumps forward you get paid 12 for working 11 hours. Luckily it usually works out that if you work one you work both so that’s nice When I worked at a restaurant with a night shift you loose the hour but gain it back when the time goes forward We used to still count the time as though the clock didn’t roll back. We still were there for only 10 hours. The clock time didn’t matter. By the time it rolled back, we had one hour left in our shift until it was time to go home. I used to do 12 hour night shifts and if this happened you still only got the 12 hours pay. On the other hand it does go the other way as well that when the clocks go forward you dont lose an hours pay.
