We should be able to demand they stop taking it out of my paychecks and I want every penny I have paid in for the Best Dad Ever Drug Enforcement Us Justice Department shirt also I will do this last 20 plus years since there won’t be anything left for me to collect when I retire Your point stands of course, but I can hear some Wall Street douche laughing at us already when we make that statement. I can’t help but feel like I’ll get fucked out of my Social Security that I’ve been paying into for the last 26 years that I’ve been in the work force. Turned 40 last year. I can only imagine what dumb shit Congress will get up to so they can fuck over the peasants. I find the USA system incredibly strange, I’m in Canada and our Canadian pension plan is funded currently for the next 75 years plus. It’s one of the most stable public social safety nets in the world. It’s like the hunger games down there.
