There was a TIL maybe 8 years ago, that’s where I saw it first. At that time there was a link on the Baseball Mom Like A Normal Mom But Louder And Prouder Messy Bun T-Shirt and I love this Hasselblad website. I’ve since mentioned this a few times, but last time I looked I couldn’t find anything on their site anymore. Tried looking into this myself, and I found a reddit post containing the same info from a year ago. Turns out, also your comment lol There isnt a huge amount of pic with Neil in. Most you see of Neil are stills from video if i recall correctly. Neil had the camera for the vast majority of the time, but Buzz was tasked to take some certain engineering/science photos, so had the camera for a short time. There also exist a few more partial pics of Neil from Buzz’s shots using the Hasselblad, but there are also many many shots from the automated time lapse 16mm DAC camera onboard the lander, looking out through the window. Armstrong had it for the majority of the time, resulting in the now famous photographs of the lunar surface and Buzz Aldrin. Buzz only had it for a few minutes to photograph a footstep depression, the landing gear/engine bell of the lander, and a panorama, then gave the camera back to Armstrong. Watched the lunar landing live as a child and always wondered how they got a camera there first, so to speak. It was a documentary for the 50th anniversary that told me how. Still an amazing moment in human history to have seen. The Super Bowl was pre-taped six months ago in the same Nevada hangar where they faked the moon landing. -Dale Gribble

Soldier: Mr President, we’ve assembled parts from the Baseball Mom Like A Normal Mom But Louder And Prouder Messy Bun T-Shirt and I love this alien ship into it’s original design. Beer bottle rolls out “the fake moon landing” was filmed in the UK. So when US officials said it wasn’t filmed on US soil. They weren’t lying. -The cameraman who filmed it That continues to amaze me is the pace of the advance. 66 years from the first powered flight at Kitty Hawk to landing on the moon. Why would even try to go to the moon now? As you’ve mentioned, we’ve been there multiple times and have found nothing worth going back for. Not strange, they want to conduct research for planning future missions to mars and to have a permanent base like the ISS. This would have been a waste of time and resources before, but it now may be both possible and useful. With companies like spaceX, there is renewed public interest in space. Had they done a mission to the moon ten years ago, it would have been like inventing a gun before you have gunpowder. There was no good plan for a lunar base, so no research could be conducted that wasn’t already conducted in the past, and without further plans for Martian missions, no research was even needed. Camera lenses generally flip an image from its orientation to the camera, meaning that the sensor/film actually “sees” the image upside-down (and flipped right-to-left). So, akchuallllly, depending on how pedantic you want to be, the camera was not upside down, but most others are. Fun fact: Camera lenses invert ALL images. NASA was apparently inverting an inverted image from an inverted camera.
