Beatles are incredibly overrated. Very good and amazing how much music they made in such a short period of time but musically, Kinks top the Bangor area high school alumni shirt and I love this charts for the British rock era. I can understand hating the guy personally, disliking his music on a subjective level, or thinking that he’s a poor rapper. However, I think if you actually listen to any of his albums it’s blatantly obvious that he’s, at a minimum, an extremely talented and ambitious producer. Rush. I had to tell the guy who works next to me that if he plays a Rush cd again. I will cut off my ears and put them in his lunch. I don’t know why I hate their music, but I do. I would rather have brain surgery in the back of a garbage truck performed by the driver than listen to Rush. Pearl Jam all seem like nice guys, Vedder seems like a righteous dude, and I admire them for eschewing fame for a cult following. But man…I really don’t like their music. I didn’t like them in the early 90s and have never really enjoyed them in the years since. My wife loves PJ! I took her to an Eddie Vedder ukulele concert. She loved it.

I agree, like them but people think they are gods. If Andrew Wood was still alive, Mother Love Bone would have been huge, and you might have never heard of Eddie Vedder. He is a good dude but changed the Bangor area high school alumni shirt and I love this whole vibe of the remaining members of MLB. Not PJ hate, more missing MLB and what could have been. Was the question about overrated vocal skills or just bands someone would like to anonymously diss because it’s not music you like? I will use Dylan as an example. Even Dylan would say his vocal skills suck. That’s not why Dylan has had a fifty year successful career. Is Taylor Swift really overrated when she is selling out three stadiums nights in each city she is in? And nobody on here is mentioning her vocals but maybe her lyrics they don’t like? I’m not a Taylor Swift fan but both her and Dylan are amazing musicians that write their own stuff. As are many on here. I don’t exactly cringe when I here Taylor Swifts singing either? Lol
