A lot of people I know find him absolutely hilarious. I’m kind of surprised I don’t, since I generally enjoy surreal humour. I’ve seen him on a couple of chat shows and he seems quite funny when hes not in character, but his normal TV character isnt funny at all When TV Burp started I think it was a lot less surreal than it became, and so there was more of his straight jokes. Found them very good. Her writing and observational stuff is much better than her gross-out stuff. Same with Russell Howard. Just grates on me, always looking to insult rather than be genuinely funny. That laugh seems so false.
