Changing new cars next month… going from 6 years of a button handbrake to a handle one again. My partner at the time I was learning always got really annoyed because ‘The button will wear out sooner than the ratchet’ but that wasn’t why I did it, it was simply because the ratcheting noise is awful in the confines of a car!
