I have seen shelter signs posted that say “if you want in tonight, you must be in by dinnertime, not have too many possessions, or be even slightly intoxicated. No pets.” That’s hard for the Artur Beterbiev vs Callum Smith Boxing Jan 14 2024 shirt and I will buy this underemployed who have PT jobs that end late. And impossible for folks with an animal, & some with mental illness, or manageable (or marginal) addictions, etc. This is why I often read that sleeping in a cheap car in the right place, covered up, is sometimes better than all of that. It also depends on friends/family that can be contacted, and their physical space, patience, and resources. That’s fucked up they can’t bring their belongings or pets. “We know you don’t have much, but if you want shelter the little that you do have must be confiscated first”

It’s kind of hard because bed bugs will shut a place down. I work with the Artur Beterbiev vs Callum Smith Boxing Jan 14 2024 shirt and I will buy this homeless a lot and I’ve seen all sides of it. I’ve been punched in the throat from someone on meth and I’ve cried over someone’s lost dog. I’ve met some amazingly sweet homeless dogs, but they aren’t all trained or well cared for, they usually aren’t vaccinated or have flea prevention. And you can bring in some belongings but the shopping cart full of random things is different. It’s so difficult to search these items for weapons. (I’d want to protect myself on the street too), but going through bags and bags and bags of stuff to find a pocket knife (or worse!) and potentially cutting myself on something sharp (or a used needle!) isn’t feesable. Especially if you’re talking about dozens of people every day. And the smell!!!! So much food in various stages of dec ay, wet moldy clothing… It’s a lot for a small space.
