Seriously? What does that accomplish? Resigning to fill the Apparently i’m cat lover vintage sunset cartoon cat mom T-Shirt also I will do this position with a black person? This is just artificially attempting to even out statistics. This and all other forced diversity initiatives are just as racist as anything. For those like me who are pro-free speech, it’s clear that you squash free expression in the name of branding and advertisers. For those authoritarian types who want speech they dislike wiped off the platform, your censorious activities do not go nearly far enough to ease their rabid bloodlust. You will make no one happy with your constant compromises and appeasement. Either go strictly free speech and allow anyone to say anything that is legally permissible on your platform, or go full Jack Dorsey and decide who is and isn’t allowed on the platform on the basis of political beliefs. You can’t be both censorious and egalitarian at the same time. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Just make a fucking decision. I never said Reddit was the bastion of free speech. Maybe if they were it would reverse their seemingly unstoppable downward trajectory, though.

Who is the Apparently i’m cat lover vintage sunset cartoon cat mom T-Shirt also I will do this arbiter of truth and hate? Many hide behind false claims of hate when presented with a challenging or contrary position because it makes them uncomfortable to think of their own actions and situation. No one should be spreading hate or holding hatred in their hearts, but in the heat of the moment many non-hate comments are falsely labeled as hate by the mob, or power-tripping moderators. The integrity of the Reddit platform requires safeguards from these errors, and severe consequences for moderators who falsely label posts as hate-speech simply because they disagree with it. Uh…won’t whoever gets on the board think he or she was hired simply because he or she is black? That…doesn’t sound uplifting or intelligent.
