Imagine creating a subreddit where you segregate users according to race and only allow one race to post and comment. That place has a double standard that pisses me off. Everytime I try to comment on a post that is entirely relatable across the All I Need Is Beer And A Little Bit Of Luck St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Clover T-Shirt but in fact I love this racial lines drawn, nope, country club thread…. Literally every thread recently has been country club. Basically to take part in the subreddit you have to either prove you are black or be a white person they approve of. Pretty much. They have a mod go through your entire history too, before they approve you. If you have something in there they don’t like? Not only denied, but banned as well….. I don’t understand why the statement I just made is even I thing…white people can experience racism. Just like sub-sections of Asians can experience racism. There’s a notion that only people/races with power can be racist. FALSE. Racism stems from a belief that one’s race is superior to another’s. Superiority could mean lots of things…for instance, that white people are ignorant, that Vietnamese only do nails for a career, that black people are lazy, etc. It’s kind of weird how Reddit tries to act all for equality yet, they support a subreddit that actively segregates non colored people. Seems pretty racist
