Imagine spending 10k on any game. If we take for example WoW, which has been one of the Anyone under 80 2024 shirt but in fact I love this longest ongoing games that still makes shitton of money. Subscription costs about 15 dollars a month, let’s bump it up to 20 so you even have 5 dollars PER MONTH for cash shop. Include about 60 dollars times 10 for base game + every expansion. The game has been going on for almost 20 years now, if you assume you subscribed for every single month since its release and bought every expansion and 1200 USD worth of shop goods, all of that STILL ONLY ADDS UP TO 5400 USD OVER 20 YEARS, only a little bit more than HALF of 10k. Insanity. I bought a 50$ version a few months ago. Not gonna lie, i had more fun with it than many many other games that go for the same price. So I think I got my money’s worth. But paying more than that is a no go for me.

Anyone under 80 2024 shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Been following it for literal years. 3.17 was the Anyone under 80 2024 shirt but in fact I love this point when I finally thought it was worth paying the $45 to get it. To be fair, it’s not the worst game you could buy for 60$, and if somehow they get their shit together (the likelihood of which seems to be close to 0, ofc), there might be a decent game at the end of it. Frankly, it’s the perfect game to play for a few weeks every year, seeing the new features and so on. I don’t regret buying it. Paid 45 about 6 years ago and keep going back, probs put more hours in than a lot of other games I have paid more for. 1 star system with 4 planets and each have multiple moons. All are fully explorable space to surface and below(caves/bunkers) apart from 1 planet which is a gas giant. There are multiple career paths including bounty hunting, piracy, mining, trading, salvage etc. It truly is the space game everyone has ever wanted when everything is running smoothly and you don’t encounter bugs. The problem is that the game rarely runs smoothly and there are a lot of bugs. At this stage in time I am waiting for the game to come together more but I have already played enough hours that I feel I got my value for money. Server/client errors, elevators that kill, spawn deaths, invisible asteroids, sound/texture holes, ~30 ppl instance cap.. Sometimes you make a wrong step, you die. Every now and then, they wipe everything you got ingame, so start grinding.
