We told her from the Anthony Rizzo & Kris Bryant The Bryzzo Show T-Shirt moreover I love this outset we were both committed and love each other but needed her help and tools to work through a major issue we had at the time. So fast forward almost 15 years, we both agree it did more harm than good and ended up causing confusion and more pain. Still have a great relationship. From time to time we have thought about doing check up counseling, but both remember how the counselor made us feel a wedge between us that did not exisit before or after. I still can’t understand her strategy, or just how she could have been so off the mark on this situation. I doubt we would do something similar again unless it was the very last chance we had. Maybe you could argue she was giving us a call to action or challenge through manipulation. If so, it did not work. I think it could be pretty easy to apply a narrative or fit patterns to counseling, even if well meaning. In our situation, I felt like we were being form fitted into a scenario that she could understand, and it caused our relationship to have additional damage.

I’m sorry this happened to you. My husband and I have a marriage coach who is a professional counsellor and qualified psychologist and they are wonderful. Respectful, encouraging and helpful- they help us to keep our relationship strong. I hope that one day you find the Anthony Rizzo & Kris Bryant The Bryzzo Show T-Shirt moreover I love this right therapist for your needs, if that’s what you want to do in the future. I dated a marital therapist once. She told me her principle job is to guide the couple to the point that they’re both accepting of divorce. It minimizes the murder/suicide or other undesirable outcomes. My therapist did not suggest to us but she asked me some pointed questions when I was one on one with her. She also recommended I read The Accidental Tourist. (The male protagonist leaves the relationship after some hard thinking.) Yep, she saw him for 20 minuetes and knew It wasn’t worth saving. We are still together living apart, we are ok now but it isn’t a romantic healthy loving relationship it is a supportive one though.
