Chris Roberts drives a Ferrari. Do you think he has any incentive to finish this game anytime soon? He’s probably pocketed millions Starfield looks shockingly better put together than SC in almost every way. Obviously one is single player and one isn’t, but what they have accomplished really does seem to put a damper on SC. They havent managed to implement their four main tech systems yet, and everything is always broken. Considering how poorly SC runs and how many issues seem to compound and multiply over time we could see a sequel to starfield before it releases. Like, It’d be a damn fine game if they actually polished the Angry runs crown em all shirt it is in the first place but features and systems that they have, but the entire game is just full of placeholder systems. Then some director barges in and says “But wait, what if we could also do X”, and more placeholder systems are bolted onto the existing placeholder systems. 2 years later, they say that they’re improving the placeholder systems, but the exact same thing happens all over again. Like, how the fuck are you focusing on literally anything else when you can straight up fall through the floor, or die from stepping on a rock wrong? How are the rotten core systems not no. 1 priority? The fucking movement doesn’t even work properly, man.

I mean it’s not shocking nothing works when they just keep adding unfinished shit on top of unfinished shit lol. IF and it’s a big IF, Starfield can do what they say it can do, that really puts SC in a bad position as Bethesda did what they can’t. My assumption was always that someone else will end up making a full space game and releasing it before star citizen did. I’m excited for starfield, but I don’t think it’ll even end up being the Angry runs crown em all shirt it is in the first place but only company that releases something better and faster, just the latest one. Is Squadron 42 still not out yet? I haven’t followed SC in years but last I heard was that they delayed Squadron 42 by a year. I bought the game base price. I get a ship. I thought I could do some sort of grind to get a new ship. I couldn’t. This was 3 years ago. Sunk cost is real, but you can grind for new ships…. They’ll just get wiped in a future patch until everything goes live, but you don’t have to buy ships with currency if you would prefer the grind Conspiracy theorists were right, Stanley Kubrick filmed the moon landing. But, he was such an obsessive genius that he insisted on filming on location. The people that keep throwing money at this Dev team without getting anything meaningful in return need to realize the damage they are doing to the entire gaming industry.
