Spend your time however you want without kids. Literally doing whatever YOU want to do. I am not sure I want my children to go through such situation. Commitment looks scary and comes with a lot of complications. I honestly never really have wanted kids, mainly because I find them annoying. They’re somewhat ok as babies, because it’s understandable that they’re annoying and it is kinda fascinating to see a tiny human, but at the same time, all the screaming and diapers and such – no thanks. I don’t find kids cute or funny like a lot of people do. In fact, the point where I feel like I might tolerate them better – as teenagers – is what a lot of people say is the hardest, most frustrating time. At least as teenagers their brains have developed to a point they are capable of understanding, whether or not they actually use it. Plus, if I were to get someone pregnant literally today, now, the child wouldn’t turn 18 until I’m 62. I’m just plain getting old to be a parent.

How will I spend my time? Working, caring for my cats, hobbies, etc…I’m not missing out on something I really want, so I don’t even think about it. Reason number one is I just don’t want kids. Other reasons include, there are too many people already, I don’t want to ruin my body, I can’t afford it even if I wanted to, and I really, really enjoy my peace and solitude. Emotionally, I’d like to be a dad and I reckon I could be a halfway decent one. Ecologically, I can’t be responsible for a child.
