The call out doctor refused to come to my home to see me and said it was because I hadn’t eaten in a few days. Doctor said no and I was like “well, covid is still considered a pandemic and you’re the doctor so I guess I won’t get tested.” A few days later my grandpa goes to an urgent care clinic and gets diagnosed with covid, so the rest of my family had to also get tested. Came back positive for me and my grandma, my dad tested negative. Luckily I only lost my sense of taste for a few days, which was the most bizarre sensation ever?? Easiest way I can think to describe it is my taste buds were firing but my brain wasn’t getting a signal.
