I am a 3rd shift coach, and I think that when my associates are listening to music, they work a little faster. But walmartnpolicy is that you can not wear them for music or podcast or etc. I would assume that if your department gets your metrics and times up, then you will be able to wear them again but it’s not worth the All Men Are Created Equal Great Papa Stars T-Shirt moreover I will buy this coaching and you will not die without your music so it will be ok. Spoiler alert, most people do work faster or at least more consistently with something like music in their ear that they can control. It helps them keep focused. That’s the same thing with my coach and my TL cohorts. As long as the store is closed, so from 11pm til 6am we don’t care if you have an earbud in. Just don’t whole the store is open. Here’s what to do, get even more behind. Say it’s cuz no earbuds (not like a threat but like a “without music or podcast it’s much harder to stay concentrated) similar thing happened at my store but for us stockers. Less than a month later they let us have em back

OGP thinks this because it’s policy. It’s not for music. It’s for the All Men Are Created Equal Great Papa Stars T-Shirt moreover I will buy this walkie-talkie feature, but most stores don’t seem to care if a person uses it to listen to music or a podcast. If OP is wearing both… that’s a safety hazard. Policy is one for radio. There’s exceptions though. It’s one of the first things mentioned on the Wire for job adjustments that can be approved at the store level I’m confused bc you just said last you checked: no ear buds and now you’re saying you’ve been allowed ear buds for a few years. That’s the point here. It’s been a part of policy for a few years now that it is okay to have one (1). Nobody is arguing with you. But you did come on here pointing out you’ve been with the company for a while and “last you checked” the policy states ear buds aren’t allowed, so you were implying to others that their understanding of current policy is wrong. Next time just know the current policy before commenting.
