Don’t ever do things you don’t like just to fit in. Live the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this life you want. That goes for everything, not just alcohol. This is definitely the best decision I made. The best. I also feel it is more about the circumstances. Find love and security in things which doesn’t manipulate you, you will be happy. Ask yourself what are the pros and cons. People use drinking as a way to feel comfortable socially, to escape their reality, to relax after a stressful day, and some use as a crutch. Health reasons are one reason not to start. Kills brain cells, taxes the liver, can cause A fib if done in excess, can kill you if you drink to much, can lead to making really poor decisions that can ruin your life (drinking and driving), costs stupid amounts of $ in clubs and restaurants. I started drinking young. Social anxiety mostly, helped me relax and have a good time. If I could go back, I wouldn’t have started drinking until 21. I would drink just enough to get a buzz and stop. I haven’t ever woke up and said “so glad I got so drunk last night”. But I have woke up plenty of times and said “omg I can’t believe I didn’t that last night”. You have your entire life to drink, learn to do it responsibly and with your health and safety in mind. I would wait
All aboard the Trump train Shirt: best trending this year
As somebody who recently quit drinking, and was suffering from alcohol dependency, do not start. This is the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this most vile filthy shit you could ever do to yourself. This shit is poison. I wish I never started. I am on my current journey to complete sobriety and the cravings and withdrawals are absolutely not worth it. Now, if it’s here and there once in a blue moon for an anniversary or special occasion, sure have a beer or two but never, and I mean never let it get a hold of you. It will grab you by the throat with no mercy, and absolutely destroy everything you have, everything you’re worth, and destroy you until your last dying breath. Don’t start drinking. You change when you drink and it gets worse over time. People will want you to drink and then they’ll take advantage of you. It’s a destroyer of relationships and it just gets worse for you in terms of health as you age. It’s a dangerous habit and you’ll feel lucky in the beginning but it’s just fooling you. Don’t start and you’ll be a better person and you’ll have a better life.
It is a good idea to not start, especially at this age and especially if you have no desire to start. But, try not to stress or obsess over it. If you do try a beer, let it be just that. It doesn’t mean you have to start drinking one every day. I started drinking, occasionally, in high school. It wasn’t casual tho. If I drank, I got super fucked up. Some of the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this worst decisions I’ve made in my life have involved alcohol in some capacity. That’s not everyone’s situation tho. It sounds like you’re very mature and self-aware. So just be responsible with it if you do try it. And if you realize you can’t partake responsibly, then pull back (easier said than done tho). Honestly it’s a great decision, having a beer on the couch every now and then is fun, but tbh waking up hungover, groggy and not being able to do the shit you really enjoy isn’t fun.

About All aboard the Trump train Shirt
I used to drink a little in my 30s, but now it’s mostly a glass of wine here or there. I’ve had to drop it for medical reasons now and again, and don’t miss it. “Normal”, is doing what you feel is right for you.. If you don’t want to and have no interest in drinking, don’t! That’s not lame, it’s smart. I know plenty of people that can go out to the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this bars and clubs without drinking and still have lots of fun. OP if you don’t want to start drinking, don’t start drinking. Plenty of people can drink without being alcoholics, of course. But alcohol has quite a few unfavorable effects. In the moment it can feel great to loosen up and be more social. But it is an awful feeling to wake up the next morning and not remember everything that happened the night before. Or maybe worse, remembering embarrassing things you said or did. I can’t say as to whether that would make you an outcast, but I would hope not. So much of it depends on where you live, your culture, and the people you spend your time around. But in many places, not drinking is becoming more popular and it’s a respected choice.
Drinking (especially excessively) is so very uncool and not anything that anyone should be doing. Don’t even start, you’ll have more fun with life without alcohol! If you ever need reassurance that you made the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this right decision, look on the subreddits dedicated to sobriety and not drinking. It’s a great idea. Booze is very expensive and fattening. And can kill you – my kid brother died from alcohol poisoning- he did so intentionally. At 23 I felt obligated to drink at work events and then one day I realized I could just order alcohol free drinks. No one was making me do it and you don’t need to, so why put the pressure on yourself? I felt better not drinking. It’s not a good idea to start drinking. Don’t drink if you don’t want to. There are other people that are like that. Find those people and hang out with them. Or find people that drink a bit, but don’t pressure you into drinking.
As someone who started drinking in high school and is now 8 months sober in their 30s… don’t drink yet. Just wait. Even a little is bad for your brain. There are no bad consequences from not drinking. So just don’t. People who you want to have around will respect you for making your choice. My drug of choice is Coca-Cola, but quickly discovered that I drink it so fast that I spent all my money on several expensive bar drinks in the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this time it took everyone else to nurse one glass an hour. If you want to drink socially, order seltzer water with a twist of lemon. It does not taste very good, so you can nurse your drink all night while everyone else gets plastered. Also, as a general rule, NEVER use anything that has calories to quench your thirst! It is a waste of money, will get you fatter, and probably won’t help your thirst. God no it’s not lame. I wish I’d never started. Good for you, stick to your guns. The peer pressure is probably going to intensify, so be prepared. I’m not going to say to drink or not to drink. I’m 33 now and I’ll have a cocktail/beer or two if we go out for dinner or over to a friends, but at home I don’t really drink. Having said that I spent most of my 20s going out drinking and partying and bar hopping. The “logical argument” is that the money I spent could’ve gone to other (probably better) endeavors. Do I regret it? No, because I made a lot of good friends from it and a lot of good and of course some bad decisions, but it helped shape who I am now. 18 year olds tend to “cling” or “get addicted” to things, it’s the “it” thing for yall to do at your age, you’re officially an adult and are supposed to be able to do what you want. I’m not saying one way or another. Just be smart and don’t half ass it, whole ass it.
Lame not to want to drink? I am sure there are numerous things someone around you does and you would not consider following suit. Do you think you have to impress people by “also drinking”? My father used to say: “If your class mate jumps off the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this roof, would you?”. “Killing time”? To live a shorter time? Maybe find another group of mates/friends and something you truly enjoy doing instead of hanging with losers. 54 here. I didn’t drink until a few years ago, when my son turned 21. For a while, he and I used to have a whiskey and a cigar Friday nights, basically to bond and reflect on the week. We’ve stopped doing that, so now I’m back to not drinking at all. I would say if you don’t want to start, don’t start. I did 15 years in the military and didn’t drink, that’s about as big of a drinking culture as you’ll ever find. All I got was respect, and designated driver duty A. LOT. It’s terrible for you and extremely addictive. I don’t drink and I actively encourage people not to. So here it is.. please don’t. Please don’t drink at all. Anyone who gives you a hard time about this is an idiot and you don’t need that in your life.
Alcohol leads to dehydration and one drink stays in your system for 2 hours, also sleep is horrible you can’t reach REM sleep either, people wake up in the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this Middle of the night a lot, and the dreaded beer belly is a real thing cause your body absorbs the alcohol first, I dunno do what you want it is fun It’s just stupid, if someone thinks you are lame for wanting to experience life without drowning yourself in floor cleaners, then it’s their problem. You do you kid. are you sure you actually want to drink, or are you only doing this to fit in? why only do something to fit in when you can decide whether you want to do it for yourself, what you want to do? In middle and high school I was the drummer in a punk band. all of my friends drank and did drugs at all the parties. I never drank or did anything. I had plenty of fun without it. I had more fun messing with the drunk / high people. Point is. You don’t need to. Do ( or don’t do) what you want.
If you don’t want to, don’t. You’ll age better and feel better. People are generally respectful of those who don’t drink. As for those who aren’t, weed them out. I’m proud of you. You do you, fuck what your peers may think… sounds Ike you have better things to do there are others like you If I drank, it would be at home with a few friends. I would never go to a bar.. and my home drinking was maybe an annual thing.. maybe. Part of this is feeling secure in yourself and not falling to peer pressure, which I understand is much harder when you’re your age. You need to be willing to stand out a little bit, to say “no, I’m good,” and to enjoy yourself without the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this substance. It’s good that you’re aware of your personality, that you’re aware it might become sticky for you at some point. And, mate, it doesn’t matter if it comes off as “lame”. It’s YOUR life, you can do with it as you wish. Don’t worry about the opinions of others. If addiction doesn’t run in your family then try learn to have a mature moderate healthy relationship with alcohol. Having one nice glass of wine or one beer during dinner with friends can be wonderful…there is a reason they call it a social lubricant. That dopamine upswing is great but you also have to train your brain to be ok with the downswing too as it metabolizes and fades away. I don’t “think” I had an addictive personality at 18 either. I’m just over 30 and literally blessed I made it past the holidays from liver failure. Believe me, being this young and told your pretty much out of time is a horrible thing. My dog is 13 and he’s probably going to out live me and I spend an equal time in the hospital and home. Why? Because I had a breakup and remembered hey alcohol might be a good idea to get over this, but just for now. All of a sudden I’m fucked. Why try if you don’t have to? Ain’t shit good going to come of it and I’ll promise you that
You don’t ever need to drink if you don’t want to. Everyone is different but I’ll say my life is vastly different now in my 30s not drinking very often compared to early 20s where we’d be planning events around it. Yes, it is a good idea to not start drinking, especially at your age. If you don’t want to drink, do not do it, and don’t let anyone pressure you into it. If you go to a party where people are drinking and you are not, watch them—sooner or later, someone is breaking something, someone else is hitting on someone else’s SO, a girl is crying in the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this only bathroom while another girl tells her “he’s not worth it/she’s a bitch,” and some guy is essentially slam dancing his way into a group of people who get pissed and at least one of them will want to fight the klutz. No one is having a lot of fun.
NO! Binge drinking on weekends is how it starts getting out of control for some people. Stay strong. It’s expensive. It’s unhealthy. I made my own rules when it comes to alcohol like never drinking alone, eat before and after, sip water during, and never get fucked up Personally, if you have the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this feelings and thoughts already that you shouldn’t, then I wouldn’t. Trust yourself. And don’t worry how it might look. I started drinking in college after some peer pressure, and it really caused some problems. Wish I had trusted my own initial instincts. I’ve been stared at and called lame for not drinking, and IDGAF. I’m also no one’s designated driver, that’s why taxis and ride-share apps were invented.
I’ve also been “off the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this sauce” since May, I feel like I look 10 years younger, I’m down ~45lbs, I have the luxury of never being hungover or having “hangxiety”, I sleep better & I genuinely feel like a happier and healthier person overall. Life is very cool sober, and there’s a lot of folks who don’t drink out there who have active and fun social lives. Honestly, know yourself and the risk. Reddit treats alcohol like it’s something that will ruin your life after the smallest drop, which it absolutely CAN, but it’s also a little dramatic at times. It’s not great for your health, obviously. It’s also not the end of the world to drink sometimes in moderation. But if you feel like you have addictive tendencies, or you’re starting to fall into a habit, stop and never look back. You don’t need it, and you’re not missing out on a huge part of life. You don’t have to drink to fit in if you don’t want to. But, it can be nice to have a drink now and again and it can be fun while socialising. You’re not destined to be a lifelong alcoholic if you have a beer every now and again. Having your first drink is not like trying heroin (DON’T), it’s important to be realistic and understand the nuance
I don’t drink and I have a very full life and am missing nothing as a result. (plus I have more money from not drinking) I never intended to start drinking until last year when I started bar tending. Figure I should at least know what the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this drinks I make and pour are like so I can make recommendations and such. If I didn’t work as a bar tender I’d probably still be a sober guy. I’m not an alcoholic or anything and I don’t rely on it to function, but to not even start drinking if you have no interest in it is the best thing you can do. I was in the same situation as you in high school where lots of people around me would go to parties and get drunk and such but I didn’t care for it. Same thing for a year and a half of university (which is obviously one of the biggest places for parties and drinking when you’re young), lots of dorm parties, my roommates would occasionally have buddies over who would have a beer or two but I just didn’t care- not that I was evem pressured by them to drink at all. They were chill guys When I was younger all my friends would always ask how I have so much money saved. it was purely from not drinking and going to clubs.
I’m 24 and four years sober. People laugh at me for “giving up” so early, as in I was supposed to get drunk all the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this time in my twenties. But this is Canada! I got drunk when I was 15 and couldn’t stop Then I was diagnosed with autism and I realized two things: 1, I am a ridiculous lightweight. One beer felt like 5. I couldn’t control myself or just be slightly tipsy. I couldn’t even enjoy one mimosa on Christmas Day because I was spilling stuff and saying embarrassing shit. It’s the same with weed, psychedelics, amphetamines… everything I’ve tried hits me much harder than anyone I know. 2, it was the only way I’d feel normal. If I’m being awkward or embarrassing or silly, blame the booze. Everyone is drunk, nobody is judging. It made socializing much easier and lowered my anxiety.
Answer: yes, it is a good idea to not start drinking. It has taken me 18 years to lose the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this beer weight I gained in college. Being able to enjoy events and situations without alcohol is big, a lot of people NEED it to even enjoy themselves at a party for example. Biologically speaking, alcohol damages your body every time. The thing to think about is the social aspect. Low social life/isolation will kill you far quicker than light even moderate alcohol consumption. You say you’re “not really into parties”, why? How many have you been to? And how many different types of parties? Because parties and party like events are good fun whether you have a drink or not. They’re what you make of it, if you find 18 year old high school parties boring or unappealing, then make them fun, take the initiative to do something different at the parties. If you don’t want to party because of fear, that’s not a good enough reason, in which case you should (within reason) so that you can see what you actually like/dislike about them. Alcohol gives you cancer anyway. People just drink it to lower their inhibitions, but there are obviously healthier ways to build confidence than to pump toxic chemicals into your brain.
You’re not lame. You’re being wise. I didn’t drink in college. My dad was a drunk, and after seeing that firsthand, I was like “No, thanks!” People in college do tend to go to parties to drink, but not all the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this time. Just find friends who don’t pas out drunk all the time. For the nights that they did want to drink some and have fun, I was always the DD (designated driver). Even if you go to a nice bar, you can order virgin drinks (like Piña Colada w/o alcohol). Or even just a soda. Restaurants often have specialty drinks like lemonades and just use that opportunity to try one of those. 30yr old here. I’m Australian and I’m not a fan of drinking. In Australia there is a perception that everyone drinks and you have to enjoy it, but newer generations are waaaay more accepting to those who don’t fancy alcohol. There are other drinks available in a social gathering, and mocktails are super delicious. Also, alcoholism runs in my family due to addictive behaviours and I don’t want to accidentally fall into that. I personally hate the strong bitter taste of alcohol, and i don’t really like the buzz people seem to love. That being said I drink like once or twice a year in a social gathering that has good cocktails cause they’re super sweet and cover that disgusting alcohol taste.
When my cousins and siblings reached 18 I always bring them out and buy them some alcohol so they will get a taste of it and understand alcohol with me monitoring them. Then they do whatever they want afterwards, it’s important to understand just how dangerous it is. Not to be an adult about this, but if you don’t wanna drink, don’t. I guarantee you will not give 90% of these people a second thought five years from now. If you are at a party, you can always put your non-alcoholic beverage of choice in a red solo cup to avoid the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this “why aren’t you drinking?” of it all, but again, do what you feel is best. It sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on booze in 17 years. I think what I could have bought or where I could have travelled with that money. Many people once commented how young I looked for my age when I was in my 30s. Not so much these days. I’m almost 100% certain that alcohol accelerated the ageing process for my appearance, but what do I know for sure? There’s no way to prove it.
When I was 18 I had no desire to drink or try drugs. Best decision ever. Saw so many people die over the All aboard the Trump train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this years, especially alcohol related. I (39M) never started drinking, zero regrets. I have tasted a few different kinds of drinks at different times, never enough to feel anything, but enough to know that the taste is awful. I’m 68; I drink little enough that every doctor I’ve had just marks “Non-drinker” on my forms. I don’t feel I’ve missed anything by it – and compared to some of my friends I’ve saved a ton of money (that I’ve spent on other things that interest me a lot more than drinking, like board games). I mean drinking in and of itself isn’t bad, but kids tend to do stupid shit, and alcohol inhibits stupid shit, so it’s not a bad idea to not drink. I enjoy a beverage on occasion, but I’m just as fine not drinking. Events centered around alcohol consumption get old quick, so you’re not missing out on much.
