Unless the Alec Pierce American football wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts T-Shirt moreover I love this dealership put in writing somewhere that they would be covering the transfer and future payments not really sure how it would be anyone’s fault but his, harsh to say I know, esp losing something like that. Wish him the best at least with a possible recovery! Dude owns a Ferrari but can’t afford to hire an attorney and his friend turns to Reddit? Either someone’s priorities are misplaced or something weird is going on. I doubt there is any chance you will get the insurance underwriters to budge. At the end of the day, he wasn’t keeping to the Ts and Cs of the policy. Ignorance is no excuse. Unsure on rest sorry. Police tend to just log the crime and update MIAFTR with reg to show stolen if it goes through ANPR. Fucking useless really

As someone who works in insurance, though not for supercars but high end classics high value motorhomes, there’s almost always a clause about a tracker. That’s pretty obvious why, thefts. Even if the Alec Pierce American football wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts T-Shirt moreover I love this cctv was any good, stolen in the middle of the night best they’ll see is the theft itself and then what direction they went. Police won’t chase without tracker due to it’ll either be out of the country already or on the border. The car is likely already either dissembled and/or in another country by now. The OCG that steal these cars (sometimes to order) are very efficient at what they do. Police won’t trawl hours of footage for ultimately seeing an unidentifiable figure and possibly the car being driven off. Sounds like your mate fucked up big time by not reading his insurance contracts and documentation. Trackers are usually paid and maintained by the dealer on a predetermined, finite basis in the realm of 2-3 months, after that you are responsible for your tracker being up and running. I would make a guesstimate that this is also presumed in the insurance documents, in which case they are right to not pay you out.
