My favorite thing about visiting dispensaries in recently legalized states is the Alabama 55 Years 1969 – 2024 Thank You For The Memories Signatures Shirt in addition I really love this cops crawling all over the place trying to seem relevant. There are cops in the parking lot, at the door, in the street directing traffic. Anything to make it seem like they didn’t lose and that they still have control. That’s wild. When it became legal here in Canada it just happened and then you could buy it legally and nobody cared. Here in Washington, after weed was legaized, the cops showed up at hemp fest. Not to arrest people, but to hand out munchies (cheetos and shit) with stickers encouraging people not to smoke and drive. lol We can’t grow it without a medical license. I find it silly that we legalized the consumption of it but kept growing it to the few lottery winners that quickly monopolized. We also used the alcohol and tobacco board.

Take what he said with a grain of salt. Is he driving around to multiple states to scope out what local cops are doing around dispensaries? My own experience tracks with yours, at least when it passed in Nevada and Colorado. It’s a business like any other. Same in California (or at least the Alabama 55 Years 1969 – 2024 Thank You For The Memories Signatures Shirt in addition I really love this bigger cities). Is was essentially legal anyway… legal for medicinal use and “decriminalized” recreationally for years. It’s certainly possible the more conservative areas had this happen but I never saw it. Pharmaceutical companies can’t wait for this to be legalized. The moment they can put THC in products, or better yet, tweak the molecule to perform a specific way, and sell it nationally, they will.
