44f here! No regret. Have adult step daughters from my ex. Love them to bits. Had an abortion when I was 25. Hated being pregnant the Ajr Brothers The Maybe Man Tour Eras Tour Shirt in addition I really love this short time I was. No ticking clock. No cluckiness. Happy af. I absolutely love my kids and think raising them is the best possible experience i could possibly have – BUT I knew I wanted them. If you’re on the fence, don’t do it. I think now in 2023 most (not all) of the social pressure to have kids because it’s just what you do (and therefore not having them is regretful) is gone. At least where I live not having kids is normal and fine. People who don’t have kids aren’t sitting around all day feeling regret, they’re just normal people living their lives. Lol no not even a little bit for even a single second. I am so happy I don’t have kids. I love my husband and cats so much and it is perfect. For the longest time I didn’t like my father, and I never wanted to be one. I felt in my heart of hearts that I would end up like him and I would treat my child as he treated me. The genes just run that deep. I also acknowledged when I was younger, I’m selfish. I like my time to myself and the experiences that I have had.

As it turns out not having kids was a blessing, I had two marriages that ended in failure. One due to mental illness of the Ajr Brothers The Maybe Man Tour Eras Tour Shirt in addition I really love this ex, and the other ended because the ex liked to step out and escape dealing with issues at home. (She wanted kids but couldn’t even handle raising a puppy, I had to step in and it became my dog, even in the divorce) I found love a third time and she’s amazing. There are times that she wishes she had children (we met when she was 36) and she’s since had a full hysterectomy and has chronic conditions that are incompatible with carrying a child. I’m almost 50 and do not want to be paying for college in retirement. I do not live with regrets of not having children. As my father is seeing, there’s only one of his children that really care to see him or talk to him. Me. His older, 1st born son, who he gave his name, rarely has time to talk to him. I couldn’t guarantee my children would be able or want to assist me when I’m older.
