I have an opportunity to work in the After All these Years of Fishing My Wife is Still My Best Catch Vintage T-Shirt besides I will buy this trades and make around 200k, but that is with a lot of 60+ hour weeks. Over the years we could grow the business and possibly make more, but that would require a fair amount of risk, capital, more hours with no guarantee for success. I’ve always wanted to own a success business with possibility for lucrative growth (who hasn’t), but sacrificing that much time away from family, kids, and experiences might have diminishing returns. In your opinion, which do you think is a better option, a lower salary of 90k-130k in a MCOL area with better work life balance or 200k working regular 60 hours a week with potential for more money if we can grow the business? Edit Appreciate all of your opinions! Looking through the comments, there is some key information that would be helpful.

The 200k industry is not in the After All these Years of Fishing My Wife is Still My Best Catch Vintage T-Shirt besides I will buy this same industry that I currently work in. The new industry is in construction and would probably take a couple of years to get to 200k, however I have an in that would def get there, no doubt. Many people mentioned that I could take the 200k job and then in a few years move back to the 100k job. That is most likely not possible because the industries are not the same. Therefore, my current job would be hard to get back into because of the industry it is in. My current job has a decent pension, where the new job doesn’t even have a 401k because it is a small business. My current schedule makes it where I can get off around 4pm and still have plenty of time to exercise, bike, climb, spend time with kids, ect.
