The only thing I would add to this is to turn your hazards/flashers on and drive slightly under the Admit it now rite aid would be boring without me Grinch shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this speed limit. I remember a few years ago, an Arkansas police officer tried to pull over a pregnant lady for speeding. She slowed down, turned in her hazards and was looking for a safe place to pull off the road and the cop pulled a pit maneuver and flipped her car. I saw that as well. That’s why it’s important to know how to handle your vehicle. Police or car jacker it doesn’t matter, if they decide to ram you you’ll want know how to maintain control of your vehicle Ok I guess we should just take classes on how to keep your vehicle stable while the police are trying to flip our cars. I mean, it’s a good idea anyway. It might not be a cop. Might be some drunk speeding down the lane next to you, swerving. Might be a tire you blow going 85. Might be an old man who had a heart attack and crossed the median. It’s always a good idea to get better at driving. It’s literally a lifesaving skill, every single time you use it. Why not? Not only should defensive driving be taught other basics like hitting a patch of ice, losing a tire, brake failure and so on should also be taught. Cars are no joke, they’re thousands of pounds of steel being rocketed along by hundreds of horsepower and yet people who can barely handle moving in a straight line are given a license to drive them. From the way it read, she didn’t call 911 to verify with a dispatcher to verify if she was worried like this commenter suggested to do.

It is possible she didn’t have time. I’ve had cops lose patience with me for not pulling over exactly where they intended. Luckily, they just yelled at me through their loudspeaker instead of flipping my car over like a sore loser playing monopoly. There’s several (enraging) video sources online of this incident. It was night on a narrow road. She turned on her hazards and was waiting for a safer place to pull over. Yea, but she still slowed down and turned in her hazards. There’s zero justification for her car to be hit with a PIT and flipped. From enforcer going lights on to car on its roof was just over a minute. Absolutely no time to safely do anything. Or tell the Admit it now rite aid would be boring without me Grinch shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this dispatcher to instruct the officer to alert you they are talking by squawking their siren X number of times or flash their headlights X times. Thats an interesting thought, I doubt it would hurt. The dispatcher should acatually be able to tell you the name and badge numbers of the officers pulling you over. (My mother worked 911 dispatch for over 20 years.) Second question will they or will they not fine you for being on your phone while driving seeing as how you literally just dobbed yourself into the cops. It’s entirely possible where laws don’t allow for it. No place should ding you for calling 911 ever unless it’s wasting their time. And if they did I bet a public name and shame would fix the problem quick.
