When I was like 7 my dad called the ‘ moreover I love this cops thinking I’d gone missing or been kidnapped. Really I took a nap in my parents bed and at some point had bundled myself up in a big ass blanket and rolled off the side then fallen asleep again. I was also extremely difficult to wake up so I ended up sleeping through him looking and yelling for me. I woke up and walked into the living room while the cops were at my house sitting in the living room and taking a report from my dad. Same only my mother drove to my friends house demanding I come home…they told her they had me at home by midnight. She never looked in my room. She fell asleep on the sofa, woke up and assumed I’d never came home. Then she busted open my bedroom door and yelled at me for not waking her up when I came in. Hell, I thought she was upstairs in bed. Fun times.

It’s the ‘ moreover I love this 90s. Raves were all the… rave?… Anyway. My buddy and I head out the night before from my parents house. Said goodbye, but didn’t really say what or where we were going. A solid 12 hours later we come through the front door. I’m wearing coveralls and a Tonka hard had, buddy is wearing a shiny fucking shirt and fat pants. Stupid shit. Fine. Had to explain that we, in fact, were out all night. She was so surprised, as she assumed we were downstairs the entire night. We had literally said goodbye to her when we were leaving. I was at my girlfriends house sleeping there and my mom forgot. She went up to my Rijn and found it empty, she also found that there were a lot of clothes missing (which I had with me in my bag) so she brought I had ran away. Ended up with my dad waking up in time to stop my mom from calling in a search party
