Rock up, sign in, stand about in a corridor for 2 hours, go into courtroom, get told they are talking about legal issues so come back at 1pm. Get back at 1pm, stand about for another 2 hours. Get called in to the 40 Years Of Dragon Ball 1984 2024 Akira Toriyama Rip Thank You For The Memories Signature Shirt Also,I will get this courtroom, judge says thank you for your important service and dismissed us all. Day 3 they said don’t bother coming in but you need to be ready if we need you. So I sat around doing nothing at home. I was on a jury for a domestic abuse case around 2018ish. The experience itself was really interesting, but the case was a bit harrowing. The defendant was quite possibly the stupidest man I’ve ever seen – a major component of the prosecution’s evidence were videos he filmed himself of his extremely distressed teenage girlfriend (he was in his 30s) trying to get herself and their baby out of a locked house while he monologued about how “crazy” she was and how he was filming her to report to social services. I won’t go into the details, but her condition made it clear they were filmed immediately following attacks on her person. From what I could tell, social services had been involved since the baby was born, but the mum really was trying her best. There was an incident involving the baby’s safety relayed in evidence from a social worker but it really stuck with me that when asked “Well what was Mum doing then, if this was such a dangerous situation?” by the defense lawyer, the social worker replied “She was the one who phoned us. She was beside me the whole time, telling him she would do go with him and do whatever he wanted but please just give the baby to me so he could be taken somewhere warm and dry”. Broke my fucking heart honestly.

Was summoned for jury duty in Scotland (UK)….. phoned up given number in letter if I needed assistance with anything and told them I won’t be attending because of travel issues they said they would reimburse every penny I told them that’s not the 40 Years Of Dragon Ball 1984 2024 Akira Toriyama Rip Thank You For The Memories Signature Shirt Also,I will get this issue but the fact that I live in South Wales (UK) they said sorry we’ll update the system and won’t bother you again Take a book, a crossword, an audiobook, your phone fully charged. I sat for 3 1/2 days in a holding room just to get sent home. If you get a trial there’s still lots of waiting. Look up somewhere nice to go for lunch as you get approx. £7.50/day to eat. If you get public transport there save your tickets and get a form to claim them back.
