Conratulations on her passing! I can’t wait until my mother dies. She would also routinely threaten to kill me and my siblings with knives. All of my nightmares, even at 32, revolve around her murdering me or my family. If I hear something at night, I assume it’s her trying to break in with a gun. I have to check for poison when I let my dogs out because she knows where I live, and she has poisoned dogs before. I hate these controlling, vindictive monsters. I haven’t sent mine a card since 2004, and would only go to the 1995 cast indie rock band all change trending shirt moreover I love this funeral to make sure she’s dead. You don’t need to tolerate any of this, ever, and let me tell you from the other side of years of no-contact: it’s fantastic Happy Mother’s Day to the mom that not only let people (mainly her family) abuse me, did nothing to stop it, but also stayed married to the narcissistic, little Napoleon douchebag of a step dad after I moved out at 18 while I was in high school. She had left as well but went back because “god told her to.” So, everyday that that man yelled at me purple in the face, pushed me down stairs, broke my Xbox for zero reason, terrorized me anytime I couldn’t find something he lost, touching me, beating the shit out of me with a handful of ice (edit: he picked this off the ground and bashed it against my face, wasn’t refrigerator ice lol), and more didn’t make her leave him.

The cards are for moms who deserve them. Yours doesn’t. And trust me, I get it. My mom was awful and abusive, she did the 1995 cast indie rock band all change trending shirt moreover I love this beating herself. Let me just say this, because sometimes you need to hear it. When your parent raises you in an unsafe environment, neglects you, puts your health at risk, allows you to be hurt for their own convenience, you owe them NOTHING. Not love, not respect, not gifts, not gentle lies. Nothing. And I know it takes a lot of effort to truly cut someone out of your life. Cancer is rarely easy to remove. But it is always worth it. Happy mother’s day to the woman who cried hysterically at me because she didn’t like her wedding hairdo… for my wedding. Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who had her own daughters raped and repeatedly whipped me about the bare genitals with a flyswatter for the crime of visiting my father without permission! Happy mothers day to the woman who smoked during the entirety of her pregnancy and used me as an accessory for her life
