I remember one time I went over to my sister’s house to spend the 1992 take that pop band and party trending shirt moreover I love this night because it was my birthday weekend my sister was going to treat me to a spa day and just have a sister’s day, then go home for cake and presents. But apparently my mom forgot because my mom at like midnight called my sister asking where I was, and my sister said ”She’s spending the night with me remember? When I got home my mom lectured me about sneaking out, even though that was something I had never done before or ever had the desire to. When my dad pointed out that it was written on the calendar and she saw my sister pick me up from my house my mom apologized and called my sister that it was a misunderstanding on her part. But here’s the kicker when I woke up later that morning I asked my mom if my sister still going to take to the spa, she said

She had to create a scenario out of thin air as to why YOU were the problem and she had no choice but to punish you. Happy mother’s day to the woman who tried to anoint me with oils, forcibly, against my will, in order to drive the gay demons out of me. The woman who kicked me out into the street three times, and once made me walk back home in the rain for two miles to prove a point. The same woman who would later go on to read my journal out loud, to me and my father, and hold me accountable for the contents.
