If you ask me, the 1985 U2 The Unforgettable Fire The Coliseum concert flyer T-Shirt moreover I love this answer for your question is not really. Vietnam is lacking behind in high skilled workers, lack of RnD research, institutions and academia to create what i call an “ecosystem” to make Vietnam jump start in certain important industry. What you’re seeing with companies decoupling from China is because: firstly manufacturing in China is not really cheap anymore, China themselves also is upgrading their value in the supply chain to take the high tech position and outsourcing cheap labor jobs. Secondly to mitigate risk. As you see the China-US relationship become more and more hostile, keep their business in China gonna make them caught in the middle of the firefight. You can see the recent Chip ban really turned the electronic industry of China upside down, how long until China gonna tit for tat? Companies moved to Vietnam because of cheap labor, relatively stable politics, culture is somewhat closer to China and also some geopolitical reasons of these companies country of origin, to make Vietnam lean to US lead side( something something carrots and stick). But even then, Vietnam is not only option and there are other ASEAN countries. Q1 2023 seeing Vietnam is struggling in attract FDI investment already

These countries are way ahead of Vietnam in terms of infrastructure and business environment. You also have to look at your investor pool. Are they sophisticated enough to help incubate and provide the 1985 U2 The Unforgettable Fire The Coliseum concert flyer T-Shirt moreover I love this necessary guidance for the startups? Prime example is the stupidity of the EV Battery Subscription Model from Vinfast! It seems to me Vinfast has no clue of what Consumer Behavior is. Well with vinfast, I think the issue is that they are trying to impose Vietnamese style onto different markets which isn’t working. And also with the battery they are trying to do something different to differentiate themselves from other EV makers. But the battery subscription model doesn’t make any sense because batteries last about 10 years and only degrade about maybe 20% at most. So it doesn’t make sense to have a subscription model for EV batteries. Perhaps for small phone batteries this might work, Apple care + offers free battery replaces if an iPhone battery is less than 80% for example. And so this higher up business decision comes off as really tone death in the American car market which is extremely competitive.
